CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: We've got an update now on some breaking news we've been following this morning on a plane crash in southern Turkey. It is a military plane involved in this crash. Thirty-seven people -- all 37 people on board are dead, 31 of them special forces. Six were the crew members.

Apparently, this happened at about 6:15 a.m. Eastern time. And it will take some time to identify those bodies because of the condition they were found in -- and according to what CNN is being told, that the plane was found in several parts and was still on fire after crashing in an empty field.

As soon as we know more about this story, we will bring it to you.
