LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: As promised, we have some more information to deliver to you now on that Chicago train collision that we saw here. Once again, you're seeing pictures we're bringing in from our affiliate WBBM there in Chicago.

And you can see the emergency personnel. They're taking one of the 22 who have been injured off of the train. What we've got is two trains, one on the purple line and one on the brown line. Apparently going around what's called the church curve. This collision actually -- they've come to a stop here at the intersection of Division and Sedgwick. Both trains were heading southbound and they were going around this church curve, according to reports that we have seen and heard so far. And apparently somehow, some way they collided of scraped against one another.

Twenty-two were injured, we understand, and power has been shut off to the entire area around that area of Division and Sedgwick in order to make sure there are no other further casualties (sic) here at this accident site. This happened just after rush hour, and both these trains did appear to be rather full.

We'll keep our eye on this story and, of course, we'll bring you more as we learn it right here on CNN.
