Security Breach Shuts Down Atlanta Airport

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Back in this country, watching a story at one of the busiest airports in the world. Many times, it is the busiest based on volume -- Atlanta Hartsfield.
This is videotape shot just a short time ago. A number of people standing outside that airport because it's been closed down for the time being. Apparently, there is a security breach. Don't have a whole lot of information on this, so we don't want to go too far. But apparently, we are told that a man breached security. How he did it, why he did it is not clear.
Some of the local reporting here indicated that the man was tackled by security forces. Albeit, whether that's the case or not, we can tell you that planes are not leaving, but some planes are landing. WAGA with this live picture now from Hartsfield International Airport. A number of planes clearly taxiing down the tarmac there, ready to go. But for now, things have been put on hold.
That is a substantial airport. If anyone has ever traveled through there, you know how big and how many people go through there on a daily basis. A big place, half a dozen terminals and a lot of place to move around. Hartsfield International Airport, frozen for now for takeoffs. We'll watch it and see what we get.
But on the topic of airline security, however, here's a live picture now. I'm seeing people move, so that may be a good sign. Don't want to get out too far in front of this right now. But if the people are moving -- they were standing around for the past hour -- so this may be a good sign that the security situation has clarified. We will watch it and let you know what happens there.
