The Afghan Islamic Press is reporting that Taliban supreme leader Mullah Mohammed Omar is ready to surrender the last Taliban stronghold of Kandahar in southern Afghanistan.
Once again, this is a report from the Afghan Islamic Press. It has not been independently verified by CNN. But the Afghan Islamic Press reporting that Taliban supreme leader Mullah Mohammed Omar ready now to surrender that last Taliban stronghold in southern Afghanistan of Kandahar. Fierce fighting going on there, as you know.
