A small plane has now crashed in Los Angeles. You're looking at a live shot from that scene -- a twin- engine Cessna plane. This crash occurring in Orange County. We know at least one person has died. We know that there was a small fire after the crash. It happened about 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time in a vacant lot that was surrounded by commercial and residential buildings there in Buena Park; that's about 27 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Now the crash, as we said, did cause a small ground fire, possibly knocking down some cable and telephone lines there.
Once again, this is a small plane crash occurring there in Buena Park, California. It looks like it has crash into the a vacant lot surrounded by commercial and residential buildings in this area about 27 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
And this is another story that we're following. We told you moments ago about a small plane crashing in Tampa, Florida into a building there. We have two -- this is the video now from the building in Tampa, Florida. A private plane crashing there into the Bank of America building in Tampa. This being piloted, apparently, by a 15-year-old student pilot -- apparently took off from an airport in St. Petersburg. This building is in the 300 block of Ashley and Kennedy Boulevard there in Tampa.
We're following both of these stories -- both of these plane crashes, and we'll have much more for you coming up here in a couple of minutes at the top of the hour.
