Plane Forced to Land on Florida Turnpike

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Here's a breaking situation that we have just learned about. So far all we have is the picture, but you see this is just I believe it's in Delray, Florida -- we understand that a plane has been forced to land there on the Florida turnpike. We don't know exactly where this is along the turnpike. We are trying to find that out for you right now, but when the camera was pulled back a bit, and we want to thank our friends at WSVN for providing these pictures -- and unfortunately you can hardly tell from this shot here, but if the camera pulls out far enough, you will be able to see back behind the tail of this plane, a bridge over the turnpike, and apparently this plane here was able to land there just on the side of the road and missed that bridge.

We are going to try to find out some more about that story, and see if that pilot has got a story to tell. Stay with us.
