THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. CATHERINE CALLAWAY, CNN ANCHOR: This hour, we focus on a new round of violence that's going on in the Middle East today. Two deadly attacks there.
A suicide bomber detonated explosives in a crowded Jerusalem cafe. And three Palestinian gunmen opened fire in the coastal city of Netanya. All of this on a day when Israel continued its air strikes and incursions.
CNN's Michael Holmes has been following this story. He's joining us now from Jerusalem.
First, Michael, let's get the latest on this. We know in the suicide bombing in Jerusalem, the latest number we had was 10 dead and more than 40 wounded.
What is the latest that you're hearing?
MICHAEL HOLMES, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yeah, I can update some of that for you. Catherine, certainly a bloody end to a bloody week here in the region.
In a matter of just the last few hours, more than 100 people have been wounded. Well over a dozen are dead.
Now, let's start with the Cafe Moment (ph), which occurred -- that suicide bombing happened at about 10:30 p.m. local time. That's about 2.5 hours ago.
