JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: We have some breaking news for you now, and it's not good. There's been another apparent suicide bombing in Jerusalem. This one at the busy intersection and very crowded shopping district. Israeli radio reporting there are casualties.

We go quickly to CNN's Mike Hanna for a live report from Jerusalem.

Good morning, Mike.

MIKE HANNA, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning to you, Wolf.

Details sketchy at this moment. But there has been a large explosion right in the heart of Jerusalem. Police say that it is a suicide bombing. This they have confirmed at this stage. Hospital services say that there are a large amount of people injured in the blast. In the background, sirens going as ambulances continue to rush to the scene. At this stage, no news of any fatalities, but given the fact that hospital services are reporting a large amount of casualties, this does appear to be a very large blast, one that police say was caused by a suicide bomber.
