CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: And we have more on that breaking news to tell you about. Reports are very sketchy, but the Afghan Islamic Press is reporting at least 50 people are dead or wounded in an explosion near Jalalabad. The news agency based in Pakistan says the explosion hit the Afghan Construction and Logistics Union. We're not sure what that is, but we believe it is not a military installation. We believe the people there build roads. The Afghan news agency describes it as a non-government organization. More than 20 bodies have reportedly been recovered from the blast site and the AIP said the explosion could have been caused by the detonation of explosives that were stored at the facility for use in road construction.
Of course, we'll be following this breaking news throughout the morning.
