Deadly Storms: Seven People Confirmed Dead in Tennessee

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Once again, the death toll mounting this morning from the deadly storms ripping through the eastern part of the country yesterday; 32 deaths known so far. And among the hardest-hit areas in the central part of Tennessee, at least seven are dead there.
Teresa Woodard from our affiliate WBIR in Morgan County -- that is near Knoxville. And she joins us live for an update, as the sun dawns there.
Good morning. What do you have there in terms of damage, and also the casualty number as well? Good morning.
TERESA WOODARD, CNN AFFILIATE WBIR REPORTER: It is a sad sight, let me tell you. Now that morning has dawned here, it is really sad for folks who are waking up to see an awful lot of damage.
The latest numbers -- let me tell you about them: seven people confirmed dead here in Morgan County; 45 still unaccounted for.
We're taking a look at this neighborhood. This is a neighborhood called, Joiner (ph) -- a very small community here in this mountain area of Morgan County. Basically, the neighborhood is gone. Folks are taking a look at some of the damage. The Red Cross is now on the scene.
It's been interesting, because as the sun has begun to come up, we've seen some of the things that are littered across the ground here. Walking over here, I noticed some pictures that are on the ground, even a sun visor that's just been strung from some house nearby that says, "Grandpa's girl." There are pictures on the ground; there are baby diapers on the ground.
This community was very hard hit, and still, 45 people unaccounted for this morning -- Bill.
