U.N. Jenin Worker Shot

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: There is developing news from the Middle East we want to pass along to you, a report out of Jenin in the West Bank. A senior U.N. official apparently shot and killed in a refugee camp there. Military sources are saying that Israeli forces were involved in a shootout with Palestinian gunmen in the area at the time.
Jerrold Kessel is on his way from our bureau in Jerusalem up to Jenin. We'll get a live report as soon as we get that established.

Again, a senior U.N. official shot and killed, apparently, in the refugee camp of Jenin in the West Bank. We'll keep you posted when we get more here.
