KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Breaking news out of Tehran, Iran. We are being told via Reuters News Service an Iranian passenger plane carrying about 290 people has lost contact with air traffic control while traveling between two cities in southeastern Iran.
The Associated Press is reporting that the plane crashed. Reuters is just reporting that the plane is missing. Once again, an Iranian plane, passenger plane, 290 passengers aboard, lost radio contact not long ago.

It is now reported -- or it's not clear whether the aircraft has crashed, according to Reuters. However, the Associated Press is saying this aircraft -- or this airplane has crashed. Once again, we are trying to work this story, get as much information as possible. Once again, an Iranian passenger plane carrying about 290 people losing contact with air traffic control, trying to sort out right now whether indeed it has crashed or it is missing because it lost radio contact.
