British Foreign Secy. Straw to Address British House of Comons

JUDY WOODRUFF, CNN ANCHOR: You are looking at live pictures of the House of Commons in Great Britain where the foreign secretary, Jack Straw, is expected to address members of the House just shortly. CNN will carry that live when it takes place. We know that the British prime minister, Tony Blair, faces a crucial vote in the House of Commons tomorrow. He has said that he will take the case to the House. It's believed that he will get the votes he needs because of the support of the opposition of the opposition party, the conservative party.
His own labor party, however, has abandoned the prime minister in droves. He had a cabinet member step down today, another one threatening to step down. So these are perilous political times for Tony Blair as he seeks the support of his own people.
