LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: I just want to go ahead and let folks know what's happening at the bottom of the screen there. As Jacqui was talking about the weather, we are just getting news coming in from Modesto, California, where the judge has ruled -- the judge who is overseeing the Laci Peterson murder trial is now ruling that cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom during this trial.
This could be a major victory, or at least some kind of a victory at least, for the defense team, which had been arguing that that would preclude Scott Peterson, who is being accused of murdering his wife and unborn son, they were saying that this could preclude him from getting a fair trial there in California.
The judge now has decided that cameras will not be allowed in the courtroom.
We'll try to get some analysis of this. And, as I understand it now, this is a ruling that only governs the preliminary hearing, which is scheduled I believe in October. So, we will continue to cover this. In fact, we'll try to get some analysis from one of our experts coming up in just a bit. And once we have that, we will deliver it to you right here, so stay tuned.
