Report: Large Explosion West of Baghdad, Casualties

SOLEDAD O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: Let's get right to something that's coming just in right now to CNN. We're getting wire reports that there has been a large explosion in the very volatile region west of Baghdad, which is called Caldia (ph).
A military spokesman is saying that: "We are aware" -- this is a quote from him -- "of an incident in the 82nd airborne area involving a large explosion."

Early reports indicate a number of U.S. and civilian casualties. Those again are wire reports. We're getting more information on this, and we'll continue to follow this, this morning. As soon as we can do it, we'll bring it to you, of course.
