Remembrance of Oklahoma City Bombing Anniversary

HEIDI COLLINS, CNN ANCHOR: We want to take a moment to recognize something very special this morning, the eight-year mark for the Oklahoma City bombing, April 19, 1995.
We are at the United Methodist Church now. The color guard has just posted the colors. We are also looking at Cub Scout Pack 162. Let's go ahead and listen in to the National Anthem.

TROOPER STAN MCCONNELL, OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT (singing): ... by the dawn's early light what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming, whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

COLLINS: Once again, we are inside of United Methodist Church, a remembrance, eight-year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing. That was Trooper Stan McConnell of the Oklahoma Highway Department doing the National Anthem there.

All right, we also want to let you know what else will be happing under that 168 seconds of silence to remember each and every one of the victims. They're also going to be doing a Pledge of Allegiance. We did see the Cub Scout Pack 162 there to recognize all of this.
