Kobe Bryant Court Documents Released

ANDERSON COOPER, ANCHOR: In Colorado today, a number of documents in the Kobe Bryant case were made public, including an arrest warrant for the NBA star who is accused of sexual assault. Other information, however, not released.
Deborah Feyerick has details on the judge's decision.
Deborah, the documents reveal there was another charge that was originally being considered, false imprisonment. Why did in the D.A. not pursue it?
DEBORAH FEYERICK, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, false imprisonment is a misdemeanor. Sexual assault is actually a felony.
In the charge against Kobe Bryant, the prosecutor actually covers his bases by saying somehow Kobe Bryant held the young woman, the alleged victim, against her will, either by force or verbal threats and intimidation. So that, essentially, is wrapped into the body of the actual charge.
But sources -- actually former prosecutors that I spoke to said, you know, the D.A. there really didn't want to give the jury any options as to what they might be able to find Kobe Bryant guilty of if, in fact, he is ultimately found guilty.
COOPER: Interesting. I understand there's another ruling, another judge, regarding the release of 911 tapes. What was that about?
FEYERICK: Several 911 tapes were made.
Two of the three calls were actually made earlier in the year from the young woman's home before she ever met Kobe Bryant. They are calls in which the family is seeking medical assistance for the young woman, or at least somebody in the house is seeking medical assistance for her.
The third call does actually pertain to the sexual assault. In that call somebody from the young woman's home is asking the 911 caller who they should go to report the alleged assault. But according to documents, there are no details, there's no factual information of what occurred or who was involved.
