COOPER: Hey, there. Welcome to CNN quiz show TV. This is Anderson Cooper. It is Emmy season. Tonight, we are going to be testing CNN anchors knowledge on television. Three teams face-off against each other. Answering trivia about the small screen. We are going to cover it all. Comedies, dramas, daytime TV, the late night, ground breaking news events, even commercials. I certainly hope they studied particularly Chris Cuomo.

At stake, total cash prize of $40,000 to be divided between charities of their choice. You can play along at home on twitter. Use #CNNquiz. Let's meet the team, shall we.

COOPER: All right. Team number one. Host of "NEW DAY," Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Cameraota. Which charity you guys playing for?

ALISYN CAMERAOTA, CNN HOST, NEW DAY: Good evening, guys. We are going to play for the Huntington's Disease Society of America. It is an issue close to my heart. My cousin Jennifer just lost her 46-year- old husband and her 12-year-old daughter in just a few years to Huntington's disease. So we are going to hope to get some money for that.

COOPER: Right. Raise money today.

Team number two. Host of "Somebody's Got To Do It" which is returning to CNN for its third season on September 27th. We are very excited, Mike Rowe is here and host of CNN "NEWSROOM," Brooke Baldwin. Which charities did you play?

BROOKE BALDWIN, CNN HOST, NEWSROOM: We figured. This guy, Mike Rowe were working on the list.

MIKE ROWE, CNN HOST, SOMEBODY'S GOT TO DO IT: We looked everywhere.

BALDWIN: We were thinking which one. ROWE: It is called Mike Rowe Works. It would be basically raise for

scholarships for kids who are taking an alternative route in their studies -- plumbers, steam fitters, pipe fitters. Alternative to four-year degree. The college debt is out of control, so we are trying help and do what we can for jobs today.

CHRIS CUOMO, CNN HOST NEW DAY: Save your propaganda.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We don't have all day.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

COOPER: Team three. Host of "CNN TONIGHT," Don Lemon and host of "EARLY START," not this hour, John Berman. Your charity is JDRF, the non-profit form of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

DON LEMON, CNN HOST, CNN TONIGHT: Defending champions.

COOPER: Right, you are defending champions.

JOHN BERMAN, CNN HOST, EARLY START: JDRF is at the leading global organization fight type I diabetes, terrific, terrific work and they had real success.

COOPER: Don, did your agent insist that you get teamed with John Berman again?

LEMON: Yes. The actual charity is me.

COOPER: All right. They are the team to beat. Winning team gets $20,000 for their charity. The other two teams get $10,000 each. Let's get started. First game is buzz.

COOPER: All right. Questions in this round are worth ten points each. The first player to buzz in gets to answer. Players can buzz in before the question is complete. But if they answer incorrectly, their team is locked out from guessing again. You cannot consult with teammates. You guys ready?

[20:10:19] COOPER: Hey, welcome back to CNN quiz show TV edition. Here are the players' scores. Right now, it is anybody's game. Chris and Alisyn in third place with 30. Don and John in second place with 40. Mike and Brooke in the lead with 50. But really, it is incredibly close.

Our next game is face-off. Two players from opposing face-off against each other . They'll be asked four questions. That's it. First player to hit the bell gets the first shot at answering. Correct answers are worth 20 points each. We drew names out of a hat.

First up, Chris versus Don. Face-off.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

In second place, Chris and Alisyn, playing for the Huntington's Disease Society of America, with 250 points. And leading the pack, Don and John, playing for JDRF. They have got 370 points.

The next game is all for one. Each team will be presented with a set of four TV shows. When I state a fact, the players take turns, saying which of the four shows that fact applies to. Each team will have one minute to get as many correct as possible. And each answer will be worth 40 points. They can put a lot of points for their team. Let's see how our players do with this challenge. Let's get it started.
